1. What were the top three memorable moments on your wedding day? Why?

Groom:

1 THE FIRST LOOK. SEEING KELLEY FOR THE FIRST TIME BROKE ME FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT DAY

2 STANDING UP FRONT AND ACTUALLY GETTING MARRIED IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. NOT EVEN REALIZING ANYONE WAS THERE

3  THE PARTY.

Bride:
1)  The first look – I was initially  resistant to seeing each other before the ceremony, but due to time constraints at our venue we had to do most of our pictures before the ceremony. I loved having this private intimate moment together for a few minutes. It also helped the pre-ceremony jitters and reminded me that the whole day was really just about us being together.

2) The Gondola ride and photos of just the two of us. It was nice to have some time alone, to laugh and admire one another on the ride up to the top of the mountain, and then back down. It was a little bit of down time between all the busyness and chaos of the day. Scott packed some snacks in a cooler, and a couple of beers. Even though we were dressed in our best gear, we still got to just sit back and sip a beer together.

3 – The party and dancing. – My brothers helped get the dance going with a very special preformance.. our wonderful friends brought party favors that really got the party going. We are so lucky to have such thoughtful friends and family to celebrated into the wee hours of the night  with us.

2. where are you going for your honeymoon? Any special reason for going there?
We are planning to go to Chile and Patagonia. I have been lucky to have traveled to a few places across the world. Chile and Patagonia have a special place in my heart, and I want to share the splendor and excitement of this country with Scott. Chile also has a little bit of everything, with wine country, beaches, big cities, culture,  and history. We then plan to take a week and go toPatagonia to hike in the untamed beauty of  Torres del Paine. There is something so special about this place and I cannot wait to take Scott here.

3. What are the best wedding advices that you want to share with other couples?

Take the  planning of the time line of the day seriously. Ask your vendors and venue early about suggestions or tips.
For some reason this was one of the more difficult tasks for me.

When some inevitable crisis occurs, take a deep breath, or take a shot, or whatever it is to calm you down. It often isn’t as catastrophic as you think, and there is always a solution, even if it is different from what you originally planned on. It somehow all works out at the end.

Make a list of all the pictures you want, with each person or group, and assign someone who will be present for most of the day to be your photo director. This person gets each group/person ready and inline for the pictures, which makes things go quickly and efficiently, utilizing precious time, and ensuring nothing is missed.

Assign a day of contact person that is not the bride or groom, and ideally not in the wedding party. Someone that if there is a last minute, day of emergency or decision to be made, they are the ones to figure out the details and not have to bother the bride and groom with a problem. Someone that you trust, has your best interests in mind, but is a good and fast decision maker.  Hopefully you don’t need this person, but if something happens it is nice to know someone else will handle it.
