We don’t normally get to enjoy our summer (due to weddings), thus we are extremely happy to photograph mountain weddings during summer time. ^^ It was not long ago since we photographed Katherine & Mark’s engagement photos in Calgary down town. (Click Here to see their engagement photos)
Highlights of the Day
** Every bride’s maid wore like 10-inches super high heel shoes.
** Katherine self designed 8 different Totoro fans for the guests to use during ceremony. (and use it to block the sun^^)
** The outside photo session was a lot of fun and we simply didn’t have enough time to photograph the wedding party! (Just see how photogenic they were and you will know why we couldn’t finish on time^^) It was very funny when Mark met one of his students from SAIT while we were photographing them on the Engineering bridge. Apparently Mark is a very nice teacher in school. ^^
** It is obvious to see why Katherine and Mark chose Silvertip Golf Course for their wedding. It is simply gorgeous!
** Since Katherine is a designer herself, she DIY all of the wedding details! (For example, all the wedding favour and the non-traditional red “cake knife”)
** They both changed into their Chinese traditional dress which lead to many rounds of crazy table toasting. (A Chinese tradition to show respect to guests) Please pay special attention to Katherine’s super elegant Chinese red dress. (Again, non-traditional)
** At the end of the night, Mark and Katherine planned a surprise “firework” show for all the guests!
